Discourse X Sound

As a part of a discussion on Jillian Hernandez’s new book “Aesthetics of Excess: The Art and Politics Of Black and Latina Embodiment” I was excited to have been offered the opportunity to work with the Department of Gender, Sexuality and Women’s Studies at VCU; putting together promotional flyers and an hour long video project that centered exploration of Black and Brown Femme fashion and style. Taking the chance to create something filled with experimentation and exploration.
